Stacey writes songs in a variety of styles, often with a sense of quirk and heart.
Last year Stacey made her off-Broadway lyricist debut with Rescue Rue, and can't wait for the world to hear the sequel, Runaway Rue, which she's working on with collaborator Angela Parrish. As an extremely collaborative lyricist with musical sensibility (thanks to yeas of musical training in her youth), Stacey has an innate sense of character and dramatic storytelling, and has trained at the Dramatists Guild Institute (with Adam Gwon and Marcy Heisler), the Songwriting School of Los Angeles (Rob Seals) and New Musicals Inc. She's also a trained Musical Improviser, which means she's great with ideating and delivering on a deadline!
